Providing Liquidity to CALM Vaults

1. Getting Ready

Access Parallax DApp: Start by opening the Parallax DApp in your web browser.

Connect Your Web3 Wallet: Locate the web3 wallet integration at the top-right corner of the screen. Supported wallets include Metamask, Rabby Wallet, Coinbase Wallet, and other compatible options. Click on this wallet icon to proceed.

Choose Your Vault: Within the DApp, navigate to the section where you can select a vault to provide liquidity. Take your time to explore the available options and decide which vault suits your preferences.

  • Use Navigation Tabs (Coming Soon): Convenient navigation tabs are available for choosing the network and/or tokens of your choice.

  • Vault Details: Each vault card presents necessary information such as liquidity pairs, network, position details, and basic statistics.

  • Supported LPs: On the left-hand section of the UI, you will find the list of your existing Uniswap v3 positions. Easily transfer your active positions to CALM, where our AI Liquidity Manager, HAL9000, will manage them for you.

Network Configuration: Ensure that you are connected to the correct network. Check the network settings as indicated within the vault you’ve selected. Make sure you are on the appropriate network to interact with your chosen vault effectively.

By following these steps, you’ll be well-prepared to provide liquidity to Parallax’s CALM vaults.

2. Making a Deposit or Creating a position

To initiate a deposit or create a new position, follow these steps:

  • Click the “Create Position” Button

Upon doing so, you’ll encounter three deposit options:

  • Utilize an Existing LP Position on Uniswap v3.

  • Utilize the underlying assets of the LP pair. (Coming Soon)

  • Deposit any whitelisted single token.

When faced with these choices, consider your strategy and objectives, as well as your current wallet balance. You can make the decision that aligns best with your goals and resources.

Once you’ve made your choice, proceed by choosing or entering the desired deposit amount. For a clear visual reference, refer to the provided image below showcasing the deposit interface for each available option.

Following your selection, click the “Deposit” or “Create Position” button to initiate the process. Sign the required transactions within your wallet, and voilà, your position is created and immediately begins generating fees. All of this is efficiently managed by our advanced AI-driven liquidity management algorithm — HAL 9000, ensuring 24/7 optimization in real time.

3. Claiming Fees / Rewards

Claiming the fees and rewards generated from your liquidity positions is a simple process. At any time, just follow these steps:

  • Click on the “Claim Rewards” button positioned in the right corner of the vault card to access and redeem your accrued fees and rewards.

When claiming your rewards, you’ll have several options to choose from:

  • PLX Native Tokens (Coming Soon): Opt for PLX tokens and enjoy an additional bonus of up to 20% in PLX rewards.

  • The Underlying Assets: Alternatively, you can claim your rewards in the form of the underlying assets of your liquidity position.

  • Single Token (Coming Soon): Select the single token option if it suits your preference.

To complete the process, click the “Claim” button, sign the necessary transactions, and watch as your rewards are deposited into your wallet.

Add Liquidity & Withdrawal

You have the flexibility to both add liquidity and withdraw funds from your existing positions.

To deposit, you can click the “Add Liquidity” button and utilize the same options mentioned above.

To withdraw, simply click on the “Withdrawal” button, and you’ll be prompted to choose from two withdrawal options (please make your selection carefully):

  • The Uniswap v3 LP Position

  • The Underlying Assets

Vault / Liquidity Position History (Coming Soon)

You can view the claimed reward history for each vault or liquidity position. This claim data is essential to maintain fair reward distribution, especially with changing user participation, and to avoid rewarding new participants during compounding events.

This record-keeping serves multiple purposes:

  • Keeps users informed about their rewards and LP position progress.

  • Aids the learning and optimization of our HAL 9000 algorithm through historical data, enhancing system performance based on past user interactions.

By following this guide, you are well-equipped to provide liquidity to Parallax’s CALM Vaults with ease. Whether you’re initiating a deposit, creating a new position, or claiming your rewards, our user-friendly interface and HAL 9000 algorithm are here to simplify your journey.
